At Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge, World Migratory Bird Day is the largest event of the year! The refuge typically hosts around 300+ visitors throughout the day, and offers various nature programs and activities. This year’s World Migratory Bird Day theme is the importance of insects to migratory birds.
A wide variety of exhibitors will feature interactive, educational activities or hands-on demonstrations in their displays.
The event is open to the public and admission is free of charge.
